Rebate FAQ's
Eligibility
Akshar will determine if your business qualifies for the rebate program. Eligibility criteria may include factors like business size, location, and existing lighting systems, etc. We will ask your to provide details about your current lighting, provide your utility bill and the proposed lighting upgrades
Lighting Assessment
When We do the Installation - After we Verify your Business's Eligibility, a salesperson will come to your location for a audit of your current lighting system to identify potential energy savings. At this time the Salesperson will explain the out of pocket costs and what rebate(s) your business are eligible for.
When Self Installed - Customer Pays full retail price for the lighting Fixtures and then the Rebate amount is Refunded to the Customer after the Final Utility Company inspection is completed and approved. See Rebate terms and conditions for detailed information.

Akshar offers 2 different ways to get your lighting upgraded, Akshar's Installation Team or Self Install.
A business owner can choose which is the best option for them.
Self Install is when a business owner has the lights installed themselves. They pay full price upfront for the lights and receive the rebate AFTER the installed lights are inspected and passed by the inspector.
Akshar's Installation Team will Expertly install your lights, program them and explain how the lights work, making it as easy as possible on the business owner. We take care of everything, the business owner pays for the installation, a small out of pocket costs for the lights, and we handle the rebate paperwork.
